In March 2013, inspired by Jan Garbarek, Evan Parker and late Coltrane recordings I setup my recording equipment and played in this 16th Century Parish Church for Five Hours.
What resulted was my album Fruits, an experimental solo saxophone and spoken word album that led to my work on ‘Passion – A Contemporary Journey to the Cross’ which toured several UK Cathedrals and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014.
The footage was shot on a DJI Phantom 3 Drone in December 2016.
