I had the pleasure of heading to the MusikMesse in Frankfurt in April 2018 and whilst I was there I got to play on the world’s largest, playable saxophone.
The sax, (which is at least twice my height and I’m over 6ft!) is a sub contrabass saxophone. It is two octaves below the tenor saxophone and plays in Bb, (well what I could get it to anyway…)
